Story

the stories you already have, made to land

What's the framework behind every great story — and how do I use storytelling everywhere in my business?

Build your story bank a 30+ story inventory · 12 artifacts · stories that move
The painful truth

You don't have a story problem.
You have a structure problem.

You teach with bullet points and logic when your audience needs tension, resolution, and meaning. You dismiss your own experiences as ordinary — so your content explains clearly but never makes anyone feel anything. Ring true?

You think you need dramatic experiences. So you dismiss the everyday moments — which are exactly the ones that actually resonate with the people listening.

You tell stories without structure. You ramble through the setup, bury the point, and lose the audience long before the lesson ever lands.

You use stories as decoration. You sprinkle anecdotes on top of content instead of building the content around the narrative — so they never carry any weight.

You wear out one signature story. With no system for mining, cataloging, and deploying fresh ones, the same anecdote gets told until it stops working.

Before → After

From "my life isn't interesting" to a story for every moment

Before this course

"I know I should tell more stories but I don't think my experiences are interesting enough. My content explains things clearly but people don't seem to feel anything — they understand, but they don't act."

After this course

"I have a 30+ story inventory I can pull from anytime. I know how to structure any story for tension, resolution, and lesson. I use stories in my sales pages, emails, courses, and conversations — and people tell me my content moves them."

The shift: storytelling isn't a talent you're born with — it's a structure you learn. The stories are already in your experience; you just need a framework to find them, shape them, and put them to work.

What you'll build

You don't just watch lessons.
You leave with 12 real artifacts.

Working documents you actually use — not a vague "tell more stories" pep talk. By the end they add up to a full story bank: an inventory you mine from, structures that hold, and a map of which story goes where.

Honest filter

Is this course your right next step?

This is for you if…

  • You know storytelling matters but can't seem to do it naturally.
  • Your content is informative but flat — it explains without engaging.
  • You don't think your own experiences are interesting enough to tell.
  • You want a repeatable method for finding, structuring, and deploying stories — not inspiration.
  • You want 12 real artifacts ending in a story inventory and deployment map — not a pep talk.

This is NOT for you if…

  • You haven't built a content system yet — start with Execution (Pod 1 of Fundamentals) first.
  • You're already a skilled storyteller looking for advanced narrative craft — this is foundational method.
  • You want someone to write your stories for you — this builds your own story bank.
  • You want viral hooks and platform gimmicks — this is durable narrative structure, not trend tactics.

Where this fits

The second step of the Skills journey

Story is course 2 of 6. Productivity protected the time; Story gives you something worth saying inside it. Narrative thinking is the foundation of every skill that follows — good writing is structured around stories, good recording is storytelling on camera, good speaking is storytelling live. Then Writing turns the stories into clear words.

You are here — find your stories.

Learn with others

You're not doing this alone

Every lesson has a discussion where you share your work and read how others approached the same prompt — so you see the patterns, not just your own answer.

S2

“Post your experience, read two others, and notice the patterns.”

Per-pillar discussion forums are coming as the community grows.

Honest answers

Before you decide

I'm not a natural storyteller — can I really learn this?+

Storytelling is a structure, not a personality trait. If you can describe what happened in order, you can learn to add tension, emotion, and a lesson. This course gives you the framework — the "natural" storytellers you admire are just running one you'll now have too.

How many stories do I really need?+

You'll build a 30+ inventory. In practice, 5–10 stories in rotation cover most business situations — the inventory ensures you never run dry and always have a fresh one ready for the moment.

Can I use storytelling in B2B or professional services?+

Especially there. B2B buyers are still humans. Stories cut through jargon and make abstract services feel concrete and trustworthy — they're often the difference between "I understand" and "I'm in."

What if my experiences really are ordinary?+

Ordinary is where the best stories hide. The mining lesson shows you how to surface the everyday moments your audience actually relates to — the dramatic ones are rarely the most effective.

I run a directory business — does this still apply?+

Yes. The fourth lesson of each module finds and deploys stories in directory-specific contexts — member transformations, community milestones, marketplace wins — with a parallel niche track if you're not running a directory.

What do I actually walk away with?+

12 working artifacts — from a 30+ story inventory and structure framework to sales templates, a teaching library, a brand narrative, and a deployment map showing which story goes where.
